During his time at Orroral, Philip Clark shot Standard and Super 8mm home movies – covering almost the full life of the station.
He’s kindly made his edited film, complete with soundtrack, available for your enjoyment.
Towards the end of the film, in 1982, astronauts John Young and Bob Crippen visit Orroral after the first Space Shuttle flight, STS-1. They are met by StaDir Lew Wainwright.
