The Apollo Road today

In the lead up to the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 (July 2019) former Deputy Director Mike Dinn suggested to the ACT Government that a new sign at the end of the Apollo Road (near the turnoff, where the old sign had been located) would be worth considering.

To their great credit, the ACT Government designed and erected this new sign:
